Explore the World of Fungi: Join the Mushroom Foray at the Greenway

FORT MILL, SC — Nature enthusiasts and curious minds alike are invited to explore the captivating world of mushrooms during a Mushroom Foray at the Anne Springs Close Greenway on Saturday, September 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Whether you’re a seasoned forager or just beginning to discover the wonders of fungi, this educational event promises to be an exciting and informative experience for all ages.

Led by expert naturalists from the Gaston Area Mushroom Club, the guided walk will take participants along the trails of the Greenway, offering the opportunity to learn about the diverse mushroom species found in the area. This immersive hike will teach you about the unique role fungi play in our ecosystems, as well as tips on identifying different types of mushrooms.

Please note: foraging is not allowed on the Greenway, and this is an educational hike only.
