The Speckled Pear, a new gourmet market specializing in fresh, locally sourced ingredients and ready-to-eat meals, is set to open this fall at 110 Clebourne Street, Unit 102, in downtown Fort Mill. Promising to be a one-stop shop for healthy, convenient dining, the store aims to offer an elevated culinary experience for the community.
Robyn and Michael Bader, owners of The Speckled Pear, describe their vision: “The Speckled Pear will be a high-quality, whole and prepared foods market with an all-day menu, gift center, and catering services. We also plan to hold pop-up dinners several nights a week, featuring international and seasonal menus paired with NA beverages, beer, and wine.”
The store will feature a variety of prepared meals, including gourmet salads, sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and artisan pizzas, alongside pantry items such as specialty cheeses, cured meats, and gourmet condiments.
Explaining their decision to open in Fort Mill, Robyn said, “We chose to open in Fort Mill because we live here and love the richness of the evolving community. Increasingly, Fort Millians are looking for high-quality, scratch-made options for themselves and their families without compromising flavor. Downtown is truly becoming an epicenter, bringing the two sides of Fort Mill together.”
In addition to the curated food selection, The Speckled Pear will offer a cozy seating area for customers to enjoy their meals or relax with a cup of coffee. The warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff are sure to make it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
