Urgent Recall: Fresh Start Produce Cucumbers Linked to Salmonella Outbreak in 14 States

Fresh Start Produce Sales, Inc. has initiated a recall of whole cucumbers shipped between May 17 and May 21, 2024, due to possible Salmonella contamination. The recall affects distribution centers, wholesalers, and food service distributors across 14 states, including South Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio. The contamination was discovered after a sample tested positive in Pennsylvania. Consumers are advised to discard or return the product.
