South Carolina Senator Tim Scott has announced that he is accepting applications for internships for the Fall of 2024. Opportunities are available in his Washington, D.C., North Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville offices.
The application deadline for fall internships, which run from September to mid-December, is July 15.
Senator Scott’s internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students a valuable chance to work alongside public service professionals and gain firsthand experience in government policy. Internships are open to all majors, providing a diverse range of students the opportunity to apply.
Internships generally run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, but can be flexible to accommodate students’ schedules. In Washington, D.C., internships are paid unless the applicant opts to receive school credit instead. These internships are designed primarily for students who have completed at least two full years of undergraduate coursework. Interns are responsible for finding their own housing.
