The York County Parks Department invites all residents to a public meeting on July 25, 2024, at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the York County Government Center, located at 6 South Congress Street, York, SC.
This meeting provides a valuable opportunity for the public to discuss issues that matter to them, share ideas, and offer suggestions to improve the county’s parks and recreation facilities. Attendees will also have a chance to participate in a raffle.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
