After a hard fought primary election, Tony Breeden and Michael Belk were left to battle it out in a runoff election for York County Sheriff. Breeden is a former Lieutenant with the Rock Hill Police Department and Belk is the current Deputy Chief of the Rock Hill Police Department.
After recording all precincts, Tony Breeden has won the Republican primary runoff and will be the next York County Sheriff, since no Democrat filed for the office. With only 1 precincts left to report Breeden leads Belk, 8919-8259.
This is a developing story and will be updated as the last 2 precincts reports and results are finalized.
