The Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association (TCMGA) hosted its highly anticipated President Cup Golf Tournament on June 8 and 9, 2024. With golfers divided into two flights based on their handicaps, the competition saw outstanding performances and thrilling moments over the two-day event. Congratulations to Todd Hanson for securing the overall win of the 2024 TCMGA President Cup, finishing with a net score of -3, just two strokes ahead of Gary Anderson. Todd Hanson’s victory also earned him a coveted parking spot for a year.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
