As part of ongoing enhancements to the electrical grid, Duke Energy has announced a scheduled power outage for the downtown area of Fort Mill, SC, and surrounding neighborhoods on Sunday, June 2. The outage will start at 11:59 p.m. and conclude by 3 a.m. on Monday, June 3.
This temporary service interruption is necessary to connect the electrical grid to a new substation, ensuring improved power supply to the community. Affected homes and businesses have been directly notified by Duke Energy.
