Charlotte Welcomes Free Rides on New Year’s Eve with Miller Lite and CATS

Get ready, Charlotte! This New Year’s Eve, raise a toast to safe celebrations with free rides courtesy of Miller Lite and the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). No need to worry about fares or finding a designated driver – hop on any CATS bus or light rail from 5 a.m. on December 31st until 2 a.m. on January 1st, and ring in 2024 stress-free.

This exciting partnership marks the arrival of the Miller Lite Free Rides program in Charlotte, carrying on Molson Coors’ 35-year legacy of promoting responsible festivities. Since 1988, the program has provided over 8 million free rides across the U.S., and last year alone, helped nearly 170,000 people toast to a safer New Year.

So, Charlotteans, plan your route before the confetti flies! Check out RideTransit.org or the CATS-Pass App to map your journey and discover convenient stops – especially if you’re heading to the NYE CLT celebration.

Pro tip: CTC Station, 3rd Street Station, and Brooklyn Village Station are great light rail options for the festivities!

Let’s make this New Year’s Eve one to remember, filled with good times and safe rides home. Cheers to responsibility,Charlotte!
