Join us for a magical holiday celebration at the Fort Mill Christmas Village & Tree Lighting, taking place on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fort Mill Amphitheater in Walter Elisha Park, 345 N. White Street.
The festivities will be even more enchanting with the addition of the Downtown area’s annual holiday lights, trees, and decorations. As we illuminate the park’s majestic 50-foot Christmas Tree, Downtown will also come alive with its own dazzling light display. This simultaneous lighting creates a captivating atmosphere throughout the town. Ardrey St will be closed 2-8:30 pm and Main St will also be closed (Tom Hall to Academy streets) 3-9 pm so the community can visit local merchants & restaurants.
We invite the public to explore and support our local Downtown merchants and restaurants during this special event. Main Street will be pedestrian-only, providing a perfect opportunity for everyone to leisurely shop and dine in the festive environment.
The evening at the park includes performances from a handbell choir, school choirs, and dance teams. There’s also a Christmas Village with unique vendors, trackless train rides for kids, and a variety of activities to enjoy. Food and coffee trucks will be available to offer tasty treats and warm drinks.
Don’t forget to capture the holiday spirit in photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with various holiday characters. This event promises to be a delightful and memorable experience for all who attend, combining the charm of the Christmas Village with the vibrant spirit of Downtown Fort Mill.
