Rock Hill, SC (Tega Cay Sun) -The 2024 Republican Presidential Candidate Forum presented by the Federated Women’s Clubs of North and South Carolina will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, 7pm at Winthrop University. This forum, organized by and designed for women, will provide a unique platform to hear candidate’s views on issues critical to women; education, family policies, reproductive rights, the economy, while reflecting the views of the nation. It will showcase candidates’ leadership skills, policy expertise and vision for the country.
Forums like these are crucial for fostering political engagement, promoting dialogue, and shaping public opinion during election seasons. North Carolinians will have this rare opportunity to personally hear the candidates early in their primary process and South Carolinians will have a springboard for their First in the South February 24 primary.
Invited candidates include Asa Hutchinson, Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tim Scott, Mike Pence, Nicki Haley, Chris Christie, and Doug Burgum.
