Charlotte, NC (Tega Cay Sun) – Model A Brewing continued its winning ways at the 2023 Charlotte Independent Brewers Alliance Awards on Saturday, September 30th.
As the defending Best in Show winner, Model A Brewing placed 3rd with their Absofugginlutely (IPA/Pale) entry in the best in show contest this year.
Absofugginlutely also won the IPA/Pale category and Model A’s Finley’s Alt won the MALT (Amber / Brown / Golden) category.
In response to the awards, co-owner and Director of Brewing Operations, Brad O’Connor said, “We’re elated to win gold in both the Amber/Brown/Golden and IPA categories at the 2nd annual best of Best of Charlotte beer awards. All Gold Medal winners are then placed head to head for best of show. Out of a possible 120 beers and 31 competing breweries our Black IPA won 3rd overall. Our Brewmaster continues to prove that we’re putting out world class beers right here in your backyard.”
Model A most certainly is producing world class beer, right here in Tega Cay. In only their third year of existence, Model A Brewing has established themselves as one of the top breweries in the Charlotte area, and Nationally. Their winnings include:
