Tega Cay, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – Join the Tega Cay Lions Club at Tega Cay Tavern for a Cornhole Tournament and Silent Auction on September 30, 2023, to benefit Vision Screening, Eyeglasses and Summer Camp for Diabetic and Blind Children.
Great Silent Auction Items! Auction will be open on 9/30 from noon to 4:30. Item pickup will be immediately following.
Pre-register for the tournament at the Tega Cay Tavern ( 803-396-2020) by 9/27 for $50 per team; cost rises to $60 per team after 9/27. Registration includes food and beverage tickets.
On 9/30, sign up in person at noon; tournament starts at 1pm.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
