Fort Mill School District Tops State in Test Scores

Fort Mill, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – The Fort Mill School District had the best scores on two state tests.

The South Carolina Department of Education recently released SCPASS and SC READY scores for elementary and middle schoolers in three subjects: English language arts (ELA), math, and science. The scores are from the test given in the 2022-2023 school year and cover grades 3-8 for ELA and math, and grades 4-6 for science. There are a total of 14 different grade-subject metrics.

The Fort Mill School District had the highest scores in 13 of the 14 categories. The only exception was third grade math, where Fort Mill ranked second.
