ESPN’s College GameDay is Kicking Off the Season in Charlotte for the Duke’s Mayo Classic

Charlotte, NC (Tega Cay Sun) – The ESPN College GameDay show will kickoff its 37th season on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Broadcasting from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET at Romare Bearden Park, the show will serve as a warm-up for the evening’s Duke’s Mayo Classic at Bank of America Stadium. The game pits the No. 21 North Carolina Tar Heels against the South Carolina Gamecocks, with kickoff slated for 7:30 PM ET.

USC Alumni Daris Rucker will be the guest “picker” on College Game Day and share is picks for the slate of college football games this weekend.

South Carolina was last featured on College GameDay in 2014, while North Carolina is making its first appearance on the show since 2010.
