Tega Cay, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – The Tega Cay Music Association is proud to announce the Community Choir!
The community choir is open to everyone and there are no auditions. Choir director, Linda Reeves told the Sun, “Our first performance will be at the City Tree Lighting on December 7th. Rehearsals will be every other Saturday late afternoon beginning mid September.” She also added, “In addition to the main choir I’m hoping to put together a special ensemble for those that have more experience.”

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
