Tega Cay, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – The Tega Cay Police Department is hosting its 9th Annual Golf Tournament to raise money for the Camp Cadet Program on October 13, at the Tega Cay Golf Club. Be sure to register by September 15!
Designed to facilitate positive interactions between Public Safety Officers and children aged 10-14, the Camp Cadet program aims to educate and foster strong relationships in an engaging environment.
The registration fee covers a fantastic package, including unlimited range balls, a cart for the game, breakfast, a snack at the turn, and a delicious lunch. Join us for a day of fun and support a great cause!

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
