Tega Cay Ranked 4th Safest City in South Carolina

Safewise.com released their rankings of safest cities in South Carolina and Tega Cay improved four spots to number 4. Fort Mill, SC was ranked as the safest city in South Carolina after finishing fourth last year.

Tega Cay saw their violent crime rate increase from 0.4 to 0.6 incidents per 1000 residents. However the property crime rate dropped from 19 to 14 incidents per 1000 residents. In comparison to all of the South Carolina the violent crime rate is 5.2 and property crime rate is 25.9.
