Founded in June 2023, the Tega Cay Sun has quickly become a trusted source for free local news, with an online presence averaging over 36,000 visitors per month. The news outlet has also been recognized by major platforms such as Google News, Bing News, and Newsbreak, and has earned membership in the South Carolina Press Association. In addition to its digital presence, the Tega Cay Sun offers a monthly print edition available at local businesses.
