Fort Mill’s Brady Ambrose Named to WSOC-TV’s Big 22 for 2024

Fort Mill, SC – Brady Ambrose, a standout tight end for the Catawba Ridge Copperheads, has been named to WSOC-TV’s prestigious Big 22 list for 2024, an honor that recognizes the top high school football players in the region.

Standing at an imposing 6 foot 4 inches, Ambrose has made a name for himself as a dominant force on the field. Known for his ability to go up and make difficult catches, he recorded 18 receptions for 273 yards and a touchdown last season. His athleticism and skill set have not gone unnoticed, earning him a spot on the South Carolina Preseason All-State Team, as selected by Prep Redzone South Carolina.

Ambrose’s performance has also attracted the attention of numerous Division 1 programs, resulting in scholarship offers from a wide array of prestigious schools. These include Campbell University, Sacred Heart University, Virginia Military Institute, Bryant University, Bucknell University, Davidson College, Brown University, NC A&T, Howard University, Dartmouth University, Cornell University, The University of Pennsylvania, and The Citadel.

As Ambrose enters his senior season, his recognition as one of the top players in the region only adds to the anticipation of what he will achieve on the field this year.
