Join the Town of Fort Mill on Wednesday, July 3rd from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for a dazzling celebration of our nation’s 248th birthday at the Fort Mill Amphitheater and Walter Elisha Park (345 N. White St.). This FREE event promises a night of family-friendly fun with live music, delicious food trucks, unique vendors, strolling entertainment, and kid’s crafts hosted by Piedmont Medical Center-Fort Mill.
Highlights of the Evening:
- Most Patriotic Contest: Show off your red, white, and blue spirit at the Amphitheater Stage. Winners chosen by the SC Strawberry Festival Queens and Berry B. Good will receive fantastic prizes.
- Live Music:
- Rivermist kicks off the night with classic rock, R&B, and variety tunes at 6:30 p.m.
- Blackwater Band brings the energy with Top 40, blues, funk, and country hits from 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
- Patriotic Ceremony: At 7:30 p.m., join us for a special tribute to our nation’s independence, featuring the Town Council, local dignitaries, and music hosted by WSOC Country 103.7FM’s Capt. Jim Slade.
- Spectacular Fireworks: A dazzling fireworks show will light up the sky at 9:15 p.m. – the perfect ending to a memorable evening.
- Food & Shopping: Indulge in a wide array of tasty treats from 27 food and beverage vendors. Plus, explore unique crafts and games from 30 local vendors, and enjoy music and bubbles in the Food Court courtesy of Stateline Productions.
Parking & Road Closures:
Free parking is available at Veterans Park, Calhoun Street Park, Looms Way, and the Amphitheater Lot (handicapped parking). Please note that N. White Street (from Old Nation Road to Ardrey Street) and Ardrey Street will be closed for the fireworks show.
