June 15, 2024 – The Tega Cay Lions Club recently announced the semifinalists for their 2024 Citizen of the Year award. Potential recipients have been nominated by their peers for their exceptional dedication and service to the community. The semifinalists are:
- Casey Borer & Sarah May
- Heather Jones
- Patty Martin & Philip Snelling
- Cliff Nichols
- Carmen Wells
These individuals will be honored, and the winner announced, at the annual Fourth of July fish fry event.
Residents are invited to join the Tega Cay Lions Club at the Glennon Center on July 4th to celebrate and recognize these community champions. The announcement of the 2024 Citizen of the Year will follow the mayor’s State of the City address, scheduled for 6 PM.
