Bull loose in Charlotte for 4 days.

Charlotte, NC (Tega Cay Sun) – North Carolina authorities are currently on the lookout for a 900-pound bull that got loose in Charlotte on Monday, August 7th. As of Thursday morning the bull is still loose and was last seen near Nance Road in Charlotte.

The bull, a dark brown longhorn, was first spotted trotting along Moores Chapel Road around 9 p.m. on Monday, as reported by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The owner was attempting to relocate the bull from a pasture to a confined area due to inclement weather. The bull, frightened by the storm, managed to break free.

Efforts to locate the bull included a SWAT team employing a heat-seeking drone, but unfortunately, they were unable to track it down.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Animal Care and Control is actively working alongside the owner, seeking information that could help locate the bull.

In the event that anyone encounters the bull, authorities advise maintaining a safe distance and reaching out to 311 with the precise location.

For safety reasons, individuals who come across the bull are advised to remain inside their homes or vehicles. Given the likelihood of the animal being stressed and frightened, exercising caution is of utmost importance.
