FORT MILL, S.C. (AP) — Fort Mill advanced in the Class 5A Division II playoffs, defeating Catawba Ridge 12-7 Wednesday night. The Yellow Jackets (10-6) will travel to Nation Ford on Saturday at noon for a semifinal matchup. The winner will face either Greenville or Eastside on Tuesday. The winner of that game will be the Upper State 5A-D2 Champion and will compete for the state championship in Saturday, May 3.
Charlie McGuire scored five goals for Fort Mill. Patrick Yarborough and Cam Wilcox each added three goals.
Hayden Christenberry led Catawba Ridge (5-10) with five goals.
