Cities With The Fastest Growing Home Prices in Charlotte Area, Tega Cay #15

Stacker compiled a list of cities with the fastest-growing home prices in the Charlotte metro area using data from Zillow. The cities are ranked by their 1-year price change as of June 2023. Six York County Towns made the list with Hickory Grove, SC having the fastest growing home prices in York County.

The typical home value in the United States increased over the last year by 0.9% to $346,856. However, in the Charlotte metro area, the typical home value increased by 11.4% to $385,000.

The factors driving the high home prices in the Charlotte metro area include a strong economy, a growing population, and a limited supply of housing. The pandemic has also contributed to the rising prices, as many people have moved to the area in search of more affordable housing.

It is unclear how long the high home prices in the Charlotte metro area will last. However, for now, it is a seller’s market, and buyers should be prepared to pay a premium for a home.
