Napoli’s Pizzeria to Open in Tega Cay at Former Danny’s Pizza Location

Tega Cay, SC — A new taste of Italy is coming to Tega Cay as Napoli’s Pizzeria prepares to open its doors at 2435 SC-160, the former site of Danny’s Pizza. The highly anticipated pizzeria, owned by local resident Enrico Mancino, promises to deliver authentic NY/NJ-style pizza and a variety of Italian delicacies, aiming to become the go-to neighborhood spot for families and food lovers alike.

A Passion for Quality and Community

Enrico Mancino, who moved to the area eight years ago, is no stranger to the restaurant business. Formerly the owner of Mancino’s Italian in Steele Creek, Mancino sold the successful eatery four years ago to focus on his family and community. Now a resident of the Brayden neighborhood, Mancino has immersed himself in local life, coaching soccer for Tega Cay Recreation for the past three years and practicing martial arts in his free time.

“I want Napoli’s to be the kind of place where families feel at home,” said Mancino. “We’re focusing on quality food and creating a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for our community.”

Authentic Italian Fare and a Modern Makeover

Napoli’s Pizzeria will serve a menu packed with Italian favorites, including pizza by the slice, lunch specials, homemade pasta dishes, and their signature Grandma Pie and Sicilian thick crust pizza. In addition to pizza, the menu will feature classic Italian dishes such as lasagna, chicken Alfredo, and salmon, along with fresh salads and other fast-casual options.

“Everything will be made with the highest quality ingredients,” Mancino emphasized. “Our lasagna and Alfredo sauce are homemade, and we want every dish to taste like it’s straight out of an Italian kitchen.”

The restaurant space is currently undergoing a complete makeover to align with Mancino’s vision. The new interior will feature wood floors and subway tiles in the dining room, creating a cozy yet modern ambiance.

Grand Opening Scheduled for February

While construction is still underway, Mancino hopes to open Napoli’s Pizzeria by mid-February. The build-out reflects his dedication to crafting not just exceptional food but also a memorable dining experience.

A Neighborhood Pizza Shop

Mancino’s goal for Napoli’s is clear: to become Tega Cay’s favorite neighborhood pizzeria. With a menu catering to all ages and tastes, the restaurant aims to be a gathering place for families, friends, and pizza enthusiasts in the community.

As Tega Cay eagerly awaits its grand opening, Napoli’s Pizzeria is shaping up to be more than just a restaurant — it’s poised to become a beloved addition to the area, blending authentic Italian flavors with a strong sense of local pride.
