The Fort Mill High School Girls Cross Country team secured the 5A Division 2 state championship at the SCHSL AAAAA State Championship on November 21, 2024, at The Farm XC Course in Newberry, South Carolina. The team’s consistent performance led to their victory, with all runners finishing in the top 25. Nation Ford High School in 4th place, and Catawba Ridge High School finished in 8th place

These finishes contributed to Fort Mill’s overall team score, leading them to the state title.
