Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop women’s soccer secured their first win of the season in a 1-0 shutout over VMI on Thursday evening at Eagle Field. The Eagles’ defense maintained a clean sheet with three saves by goalie Mia Ruffalo, while Mia Silber scored the game-deciding goal for the Eagles.
