Indian Land, SC – Lancaster County is celebrating a new queen! Julie Holmes, a resident of Indian Land, has been crowned Mrs. South Carolina 2025. The announcement was met with excitement in her community, where she lives with her husband, Greg Holmes, and their three children.
Holmes will now have the honor of representing the Palmetto State on a national stage at the Mrs. America competition, which will be globally livestreamed from Las Vegas. This prestigious event showcases married women from across the United States, celebrating their achievements and commitment to their communities.
In a recent news release, Holmes shared her vision for her reign. “As Mrs. South Carolina, I want to serve as a strong voice and advocate for the Ronald McDonald House, with a focus on increasing volunteer support across the organization,” she stated. Her dedication to this cause is evident through her past involvement in organizing numerous fundraisers and drives for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte at Hemby’s Children’s Hospital, as well as other local charities.
Beyond her advocacy, Holmes also aims to inspire and empower other women. “Additionally, I aim to inspire and empower other women to embrace challenges inside and outside of pageantry,” she added.
