Fort Mill Announces Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 5th

Fort Mill recently announced their town Christmas Tree Lighting. The celebration will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5 to 8pm starting at the Fort Mill Amphitheater at Walter Elisha Park (345 N. White Street). As the tree lights up, enjoy performances by local school choirs, dance teams, and a variety of entertainers.

The event will also feature a Christmas Village, where you’ll have the opportunity to find unique gifts, crafts and holiday treasures. For families, there will be kid-friendly activities and a chance to hop on a trackless train ride. Santa Claus will also be onsite so be sure to bring your wish list and cameras.

Food trucks will be serving up a variety of treats for you and your family to purchase. The downtown area will offer you the perfect opportunity to explore local shops and dine in one of the town’s many restaurants.

If you’re a local business or artisan and would like to participate in the Christmas Village, there’s still time for you to apply. Vendor applications are open until November 1, 2024, and are available for arts, crafts, businesses, services, and non-profit organizations. Note: spots for food truck vendors are already filled.

Find the vendor application here or pick one up in person at Fort Mill Town Hall (200 Tom Hall Street). For more information, contact Jacona Hester, Events Coordinator, at [email protected].
