TEGA CAY, SC — In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, the City of Tega Cay has stepped forward to assist those hardest hit by the storm. The city is organizing an Emergency Relief Drive to collect vital supplies for the affected regions, where residents are in urgent need of essential items such as water, diapers, and formula.
As many of you know, Tega Cay’s former Chief of Police, Steve Parker, is now serving as the Chief of Police in Black Mountain, NC, one of the areas severely impacted by the hurricane. In a show of solidarity, the Tega Cay community is rallying to provide relief to the residents there and beyond.
Donations are being accepted at both Tega Cay Fire Stations:
- Tega Cay Fire Station 1 – 1195 Stonecrest Blvd
- Tega Cay Fire Station 2 – 7200 Tega Cay Drive
Hurricane Helene caused widespread flooding, leaving many communities struggling to recover from the destruction. The aerial image associated with the relief drive highlights the extensive flooding in affected areas, with entire neighborhoods submerged, underscoring the need for immediate action and community support.
