About the Halal Guys

The Halal Guys started in 1990 in New York City with a hot dog cart run by three Egyptian founders. They soon began serving halal food to Muslim taxi drivers, a niche market lacking authentic options. Their offerings, like chicken and gyro platters and falafel sandwiches, quickly gained popularity beyond their initial clientele, attracting a diverse group of Americans. With their food and service continuously in high demand, The Halal Guys expanded to bring their American Halal Food to a broader audience, becoming pioneers in the industry.
