Carolinas Dominate “Best Places to Live” Rankings with 5 Cities in Top 20

A new study by U.S. News & World Report has illuminated the Carolinas as a prime destination for those seeking an exceptional quality of life, with five cities landing in the top 20 of the 150 Best Places to Live in the United States.

Charlotte, NC, secures the fifth spot, followed closely by Raleigh, NC, at number six. Greenville, SC, proudly claims the fourth position, with Asheville, NC, at 17th, and Charleston, SC, rounding out the list at number 14.

The 2024-2025 Best Places to Live rankings evaluate cities based on factors including job market strength, quality of life,desirability, and overall value, further solidifying the Carolinas’ reputation as a region offering diverse opportunities and an attractive lifestyle for individuals and families alike.

Charlotte, in particular, achieved a notable overall score of 6.8 out of 10, highlighting its strong performance across multiple categories.
