Tega Cay, SC – Tega Cay’s own, Model A Brewing won two medals at the U.S. Open Beer Championship on July 10, 2023. The U.S. Open Beer Championship is one of the largest beer competitions in the world and had more than 9,000 beers entered by 3,107 brewers. Model A Brewing won the Silver Medal for the best Marzen/Oktoberfest and the Bronze Medal for Altbier. These wins follow up their first place gold medal win last year for their Strawberry Kolsch.
