In what became an instant classic Friday night, the Fort Mill Yellowjackets were stopped in redzone as the final seconds of the game wound down. The Nation Ford Falcons came away with the 27-23 victory. It’s the tenth consecutive year that Nation Ford has bested Fort Mill in the cross town rivalry. Fort Mill’s season ends with a 1-8 record overall and 0-6 in Region 3-5A action. Nation Ford’s win put them at 2-8 on the season and 1-5 in the region. The Falcons are off ahead of next week’s first round of post season action.
