Tega Cay resident Ella Collins has committed to the College of Charleston’s Equestrian Team. Collins is a senior at Fort Mill High School and a nationally ranked equestrian rider.
The College of Charleston Equestrian Team, a formidable presence in the world of collegiate equestrian sports, has a rich history of success in Division 1 athletics. With numerous appearances at the IHSA National Championship Horse Show, national champion riders, and a string of regional and zone championships, the team continues to shine in the world of equestrian competition.
The College of Charleston Equestrian Team has made an impressive 27 appearances at the IHSA National Championship Horse Show, showcasing their dedication and skill in the equestrian arena. Over the years, the team has consistently demonstrated its competitive prowess, achieving notable finishes, including a remarkable second-place finish in 1989 and 1991.
