As we settle back into our routines after a refreshing Spring Break, the Humane Society of York County (HSYC) has two very special residents who are hoping this week will be the week they finally find their forever homes. Let’s shine a spotlight on our wonderful Cat of the Week and Dog of the Week!
Cat of the Week: The Repeatable Beauty – Dani!
Prepare to be captivated by the stunning Dani! This gorgeous Tabby girl is a true gem, and incredibly, she’s been waiting patiently at the rescue for a long time. Dani arrived at HSYC as a tiny, two-month-old stray and has now been with them for a year and four months. That’s a lot of time for such a beautiful feline!
You can usually find Dani holding court with the other cool cats in the Cat Lounge, observing the comings and goings with an air of quiet curiosity. While she might take a little time to warm up to new people, Dani has made significant progress since her arrival. At one year and six months old, she is spayed, vaccinated, tested, and microchipped, all ready to start her new life.
Dani is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the space she needs to adjust. In return, she promises to blossom into a loving companion. She would likely thrive in a more peaceful and quiet home environment.
Has Dani’s beauty and resilience melted your heart? Don’t wait! Call the Humane Society of York County TODAY at 803-802-0902 to schedule an appointment to meet this special girl. You can find more information about their adoption requirements and process on their website at https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/.
Dog of the Week: The Hilarious and Handsome – Monaco!
Get ready to meet a truly unforgettable canine – Monaco! This handsome boy with those intense, captivating eyes is another repeat who deserves a loving home. And let us tell you, this dude is FUNNY!
Monaco came to the rescue as a stray 155 days ago and is truly a diamond in the rough. He’s just waiting for that special someone to see his wonderful personality and fall head over heels. Estimated to be around 1.5 years old, Monaco is a smart, active, loving, and hilariously entertaining companion.
This energetic pup gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has even shown off his impressive skills after completing classes at the Zoom Room! Monaco is an active guy who would thrive with an owner who enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, and continued training. Weighing in around 40-45lbs, he’s the perfect medium size – perhaps even lap-sized if he has his way!
Monaco is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested, making him completely ready to join your family. What are you waiting for? Don’t miss out on the chance to meet the magnificent Monaco! Call HSYC today at 803-802-0902 and prepare to fall in love!
