“Dirty Soda” Chain Swig to Open New Rock Hill Location

Swig, the popular Utah-based drive-thru soda chain known for its customized “dirty sodas,” is expanding its regional presence with a new location planned for Rock Hill. Swig will lease space within the Sharonwood Shopping Center, situated at the intersection of Celanese and India Hook Roads. The shopping center is owned by Congressman Ralph Norman.

Swig gained significant popularity through viral social media content and received national attention from the Hulu reality series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” The chain specializes in custom soda creations, adding creams and syrups to soft drinks. It originated in Utah’s Mormon communities as an alternative to coffee-focused establishments, aligning with religious dietary restrictions.

This upcoming Rock Hill store will mark Swig’s second location in the immediate region, following its recent opening in Indian Land.
