A single run proved to be the difference Saturday as ninth seed Easley edged fourth seed Fort Mill 7-6 in a tightly contested SCHSL 5A playoff matchup at Fort Mill. Fort Mill’s season comes to a close with a season reacord of 19-7 and 13-5 in the region.
Easley’s victory advances them further in the District 1 bracket where they’ll face Eastside on the road tonight. The winner of that game will challenge number 1 seed Indian Land for the Class 5A-D1 title.
