The field list is set for the 2025 PGA Championship, and defending champion Xander Schauffele will headline an impressive group when the tournament returns to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte beginning May 12.
Quail Hollow was the site of Justin Thomas’ memorable PGA Championship victory in 2017, and this year’s edition promises more excitement with a loaded field. Among the competitors are 29 Major Champions, including 14 past winners of the PGA Championship.
The field also boasts three members of the World Golf Hall of Fame and three Ryder Cup captains, adding further prestige to the event.
Adding another compelling storyline, the Corebridge Financial Team will be competing in Charlotte. This team is composed of 20 PGA of America Golf Professionals who earned their spots through their performance at the 2025 PGA Professional Championship. Their presence underscores the deep connection between the PGA of America and its membership.
