10 Bidders attend meeting for Tega Cay Golf Course Restaurant


TEGA CAY, SC – The Tega Cay Golf Club is getting ready for a potential change in its food and beverage services, and ten businesses are competing for the chance to manage the operation. The City of Tega Cay hosted  a meeting for anyone interested in bidding in the future.

The selected business will sign a five-year agreement starting February 1, 2026, with an option for a five-year extension.

The Bidders

Ten businesses attended a mandatory meeting to be eligible to submit a bid for food and  beverage operations, including the Shore Club, the current operator of the facility.

  4. Knowledge Perk Coffee Company
  5. Flipside Restaurant Group
  6. Slotted Spoon Hospitality
  7. Hobo’s
  8. Charter House
  9. Shore Club
  10. Margaux’s Wine/The Garrison

Each of these businesses is now eligible to submit a  proposal. The winning company will be responsible for running the golf club’s restaurant and bar, as well as potentially managing the Conference Center/Ballroom for an additional fee.

The Deal

The operator, known as the Licensee, will pay the city a $15,000 monthly fee for running the food and beverage services. If they also take on the Conference Center/Ballroom, they will pay an additional $1,500 per month plus 10% of the revenue generated from events held there.

The agreement also includes a $42,000 security deposit, which will be returned at the end of the contract, minus any damages or missing items. If the city extends the contract for an additional five years, the monthly fee may increase by up to 10%.

What Happens Next?

Proposals must be submitted by June 19th to be considered.
