Fort Mill High School has named senior baseball player Alex Carreiro as its Athlete of the Week. Carreiro pitched six innings, allowing no hits and striking out nine batters.
The award is sponsored by the Fort Mill Jackets Athletic Booster Club and Fort Mill Super Chix. It recognizes student-athletes for their performance and contributions to their teams.
