Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association Kicks Off 2025 Season with Lone Ranger Tournament

TEGA CAY, S.C. – The Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association opened its 2025 season on March 1 with the annual Lone Ranger Tournament, featuring a unique three-player team format. In this event, one player—the “Lone Ranger”—plays their own ball while the other two team members play in a scramble format. The team then records both the Lone Ranger’s score and the scramble score for each hole, with the Lone Ranger role rotating every hole.

A total of 87 members participated in the competition, marking a strong start to the season. Congratulations to the team of Todd Gillett, Phil Potts, and Mark Kershaw, who secured the tournament victory with a combined score of 139. The top 10 teams earned points toward the Tega Cay Cup standings.
