The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets boys lacrosse team kicked off their 2025 season with a 9-6 victory over the Cuthbertson Cavaliers at home Monday night. This was the first game for both teams, as well as the debut of new Fort Mill head coach Alex Tindall.
Despite a strong defensive effort from both sides, Fort Mill’s dominance in face-offs proved to be a crucial factor in the win. While both teams struggled with possession and turnovers due to some early-season jitters, the Yellow Jackets were able to capitalize on their opportunities.
Fort Mill will look to build on this win as they travel to Chapin this Thursday.
