Sixteen student-athletes from Fort Mill High School celebrated a major milestone on Wednesday, signing their National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. The signing ceremony, held in the school’s gymnasium, marked the culmination of years of dedication and hard work for these talented Yellow Jackets.
The signees represent a variety of sports, including baseball, football, and bowling, and will compete at the NCAA Division I, II, and junior college levels across multiple states.
Baseball Leads the Way
Fort Mill has long been known for its powerhouse baseball program, and this year is no exception, with twelve athletes committing to play at the next level:

- Jacob Pettit – Lenoir-Rhyne University
- JB Walters – Concord University
- John Coppola – Cleveland Community College
- Tucker Gandy – Coker University
- Andrew Craddock – Florence-Darlington Technical College
- Nick Fallon – Surry Community College
- Carter Blankinship – Georgia Southern University
- Kody Romero – University of North Carolina at Pembroke
- Josh Patterson – Erskine College
- Brent Laughter – Concord University
- John Risk – Cleveland Community College
Football Standouts Commit
Three Yellow Jackets from the gridiron made their college choices official:
- Tanner Mays – Wingate University
- Grayson Sykes – Virginia Military Institute (VMI)
- Jeremiah McNeil – University of North Carolina at Pembroke
Bowling Excellence
Fort Mill’s bowling program also had representation, with one athlete signing:
- Liam Buchanan – Emmanuel University
The ceremony was filled with cheers from family, teammates, and coaches, celebrating the athletes’ next steps in their sports careers. As these students prepare to don new jerseys, they will carry forward the tradition of excellence that defines Fort Mill High School athletics.
