Rock Hill women’s basketball steam rolls Nation Ford

Rock Hill’s women’s basketball team dominated in their 68-40 victory over the Nation Ford Falcons on Tuesday night. The game began slowly, with both teams struggling to score in the first quarter. However, Rock Hill’s exceptional rebounding and impressive three-point shooting propelled them to a commanding lead, at times reaching as high as 30 points.

Chloe Hudson led the Bearcats with 21 points, followed by Aubrey Stevenson with 18 points. Nation Ford struggled on both offense and defense, scoring only three points in the second quarter and nine in the third. By the end of the third quarter, Rock Hill had built a 30-point lead that the Falcons could not overcome.

With this loss, Nation Ford falls to 11-12 on the season and 5-4 in Region 3-5A. They will host Catawba Ridge on Friday night. The Bearcats, on the other hand, improve to 16-6 overall and 7-3 in regional action. They will play at home against Northwestern on Friday night.
