The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its 2024 awards, honoring outstanding leaders and businesses for their contributions to the community. The winners will be celebrated at the Chamber’s 25th Annual Awards Celebration on February 20, 2025, during the Silver Anniversary event.
Award Winners
• Robert F. Youngblood Lifetime Business Achievement Award
Eddie Pickett, owner of Quality Cleaning Janitorial Services, has been recognized for over 30 years of dedicated service, ethical leadership, and community impact. Eddie’s business has set a high standard for excellence across the Piedmont region, including York County.
• Citizenship & Service Award
Former Rock Hill Mayor Doug Echols will be honored for his transformative leadership during his five terms in office, which included urban renewal projects and the creation of Cherry Park and Manchester Meadows, two renowned community spaces.
• Business Person of the Year
Fort Mill/Tega Cay Winner: This year’s recipient for the Fort Mill/Tega Cay area is [Winner’s Name], recognized for significant business growth, ethical practices, and community involvement. [Details about their achievements can be added post-event.]

The awards ceremony will be held at a special Silver Anniversary event on February 20, 2025. This annual celebration not only acknowledges the remarkable achievements of individuals and businesses but also serves as an inspiring reminder of the vibrant and dedicated community in York County.
