Indian Land, SC — In a dramatic rescue operation on Tuesday afternoon, January 14th, the Indian Land Fire Department was called to aid an injured worker stranded approximately 92 feet in the air on a water tower under construction.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed that the worker was caught in safety netting. Rescuers quickly ascended the tower to provide medical assistance and assess the situation. Recognizing the complexity of the task, additional resources were called in from Charlotte and Pineville to support the effort.
Using a carefully engineered rope system, rescuers worked diligently to safely bring the injured worker down from the towering structure.
