Beloved Children’s Cooking Studio Bakers Buzzin’ to Close After 11 Memorable Years

Bakers Buzzin‘, a cherished family-owned children’s cooking studio in Tega Cay, South Carolina, has announced it will permanently close its doors on January 19, 2025, after eleven years of service.

Established in 2013, Bakers Buzzin’ quickly became a community favorite, offering hands-on cooking and baking experiences for children. The studio provided a variety of programs, including cooking classes, birthday parties, workshops, camps, scout events, and kids’ night out activities.

In 2020, the business expanded to a larger location, coinciding with the onset of the global pandemic. Despite the challenges, Bakers Buzzin’ continued to serve the community, adapting to changing circumstances. However, rising operational costs—particularly increased rent and local property taxes—have made it unsustainable to continue operations.

The owners expressed deep gratitude to those who have supported them over the years and emphasized their commitment to making the remaining days memorable. They encourage those with gift certificates to redeem them before the closing date and assure that scheduled parties and events will proceed as planned.

As Bakers Buzzin’ prepares to closeflects on the positive impact the studio has had, teaching children valuable cooking skills and creating lasting memories. The closure marks the end of a significant chapter for both the owners and the families who have been part of the Bakers Buzzin’ experience.
