COLUMBIA, SC – Saturday night was senior night for the Gamecocks as they played host to Wofford College. South Carolina came away with 608 total offensive yards and eight touchdowns in their 56-12 victory. Redshirt Freshman Lanorris Sellers alone accounted for 307 yards and three touchdowns. “We had a lot of new packages … a lot of new stuff,” Sellers said after the game. “Starting with Tuesday’s practice we were just doing what you had to do with the injuries and stuff. Guys stepped up and did what they were supposed to do and I mean that’s all you can ask for.” The Gamecocks travel to Clemson this Saturday for The Palmetto Bowl and a chance to compete in the college football playoffs.
